Assistant Professor

Qualification : M.Sc., Ph.D. Environment Management
Specialization : wastewater treatment processes, Constructed wetlands design and applications, Solid Waste Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Natural Wetlands
EXPERIENCE : 10 Years (Teaching / Research)

Wetlands have several ecosystem services, still they are under stress and vulnerable. The research team is focusing on highlighting the values of wetlands and finding the stress using environmental monitoring tools. India is lacking decentralized nature based wastewater treatment systems. The research team is capable of designing and development of full scale constructed wetlands. Ongoing research include, investigation of Constructed wetlands for removal of variety of pollutants from wastewater using different vegetation and substrate. The purpose of the research is to explore the applications of constructed wetlands to provide a sustainable and cost effective decentralized wastewater treatment solution.
