About Us
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell at Central University of South Bihar is a university level unit of Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. NSS is a National Service Scheme was formally launched on 24th September, 1969, the birth centenary year of the Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation. This Scheme covers students at the level of higher education. Accordingly, the administrative structures of the higher education have the accountability to look after National Service Scheme and its application at the university level.
