Dr. Piyush Kumar Singh

Dr. Piyush Kumar Singh has an interest in image processing algorithms. He is Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, the Central University of South Bihar since 2016. He has completed his secondary and senior secondary degrees in first class. After that, he has completed graduation in B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics) and post-graduation in Master of Computer Application, both in first class. The Ph.D. degree is awarded to him in Computer Applications from Banaras Hindu University in 2019. He has qualified GATE (Computer Science and Information Technology) in 2012 and NET (Computer Science and Applications) in 2015. He has worked on wavelet transform based image processing algorithms. He has contributed articles in peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Intelligent Systems (de Gruyter), etc., and his book chapter is published in the book Biometrics: Tools and Applications (IGI Global). He has also presented many papers in national and international conferences like NCVPRIPG-2015 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, ICRTCSE-2014 at the Central University of Bihar, and ICCCA-2018 at the Galgotias University.
