Dr. Parijat has done graduation in Sociology from Faculty of Social Sciences, B.H.U., Varanasi in 2007.He completed his masters from the Department of Sociology in 2009. After that, he has done his M.Phil from Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP) under B.H.U. in 2010. Meanwhile, he has qualified for National Eligibility Test and received Junior Research Fellowship from U.G.C. in Dec. 2009. Banaras Hindu University has awarded him Doctorate in 2015. He has participated and presented papers in various International and National Seminars and Workshops according to his interest and expertise. He has several research papers in different national and international journals. He is also the member of various academic and professional bodies. He has joined this University in Dec. 2015. Before joining this University, he was associated with Law School, B.H.U. as teaching faculty.
