Dr. Kafeel Ahmad Naseem completed MPhil (Hasan Naim Ki Ghazal Goi ka Tanqeedi Jaiza) from JNU, New Delhi and MA (Urdu, Spl. Persian) from Patna University. He has also qualified UGC-NET and has completed Advanced Diploma in Urdu Mass Media from JNU, New Delhi.
He has published two books 'Hasan naim Aur Nayee Ghazal' and 'Kulliyat-e-Hasan Naim'. He has also published a number of articles and reviews in reputed journals, newspapers and magazines. He has translated many reputed books from Hindi to Urdu and vice-versa. He has received many merit scholarships, prizes and honours in his career. Before joining CUB, he taught Urdu language literature (for three years) at SLL & CS/CIL, JNU, New Delhi. His present research interest includes 'Kulliyat-e- Akhter Urenvi' and 'Yaas Yagana Changezi'.
