Dr. Jitendra Ram has written his M. Phil Dissertation entitled “Changing Status of Dalits in Post-Independent Bihar”. He has written his Ph.D. Thesis on “Social Exclusion and Status Formation among Dalits: A Study of a Village and a Town in North Bihar”. Cleared twice UGC-NET. He has presented papers in various national seminars/conferences in India. He has more than 8 years of teaching and research experience. As of now, he has published 08 research papers in various reputed journals such as Economic and Political Weekly, Social Action, Indian Anthropologist, Indian Journal of Dalits and Tribal Studies, Mainstream, etc. He has also contributed his chapters in edited books. He is the Life Member (LMI3850) of Indian Sociological Studies (ISS), New Delhi. Currently, he is supervising research scholars in the Department.
