EXPERIENCE :
Around 16 years of total experience in research and teaching. Teaching: She is teaching Post Graduate and Ph.D classes since last eight years. Her taught papers include Globalisation and labour, Agriculture and Food Security, Human Development, Research Methodology and Data Analysis. She had eight years of experience working as a researcher. She was associated with Council for Social Development, New Delhi for two years and with Indian Institute of Dalit Studies (IIDS), New Delhi for six years. She has completed several research studies on labour market, housing, affirmative action, agriculture development etc. Her research studies continue with teaching.
Labour Market Studies- My research interest on labour market studies developed when I joined IIDS on my first project on ‘Job Discrimination in India’ with Princeton University. Later, I took similar type of studies and worked on Occupational Status of Muslim Women with an emphasis on REDP etc.

Water Resource Management and Agriculture Development-My Ph.D Dissertation was on ‘Water Resource Management’ that looked at Agriculture Development. It initiated me to have an interest on working for agriculture and water management.

Housing Studies- Two major works of mine include Discrimination in the Rental Housing market in NCR and study of Indira Awaas Yojana for two states in India.
